General Info

  • Accra House Fest is Ghana's first month-long, multi-venue festival dedicated to the sound and culture of house music. Running from 10th December - 11th January, we're bringing together a month of curated house music experiences across Accra - from 12-hour beach parties to intimate warehouse raves to art exhibitions.

    This festival is about more than just enjoyment. We're building a platform for Ghana's house music community and proving that Accra deserves its place on the global electronic music map.

  • The festival runs for a full month with events happening throughout, from 10th December to 11th January. Check our Events page for the complete schedule, which is being updated regularly as new events are announced.

  • AHF is organised by Transit and Open House Accra - two DJ-led collectives that have been contributing to the growth of Accra's house music scene through events, artist development and community building.

  • Yes! This is Season 1. We're making history together. If you're here from the beginning, you're part of something special. But don’t worry - this isn’t our first rodeo! The team behind AHF have been creating exceptional events for over a decade.

Ticketing & Passes

  • You can purchase tickets to each official AHF event individually through Tix Africa.

    You will also see an option to buy a Season Pass. This gets you entry into all 4 official AHF events; Transit Live (opening party), Open House warehouse rave, the AHF Pool Party and the AHF Closing Party. Passholders also receive exclusive AHF merch plus queue jump at all AHF events.

    The main difference is that a Season Pass gets you access to all events at a discounted rate compared to buying individual tickets to each AND you get some cute merch too!

  • If you can only make a few events, calculate whether the Season Pass still makes sense for you. Remember you also get exclusive merch set (valued at ₵500) and queue jump at all the events.

    If you can only attend 1-2 events, individual tickets might be a better choice.

  • Yes! Early bird tickets are available for most events at discounted prices. Once early bird allocation sells out, prices increase to standard rates. Don’t sleep on it!

  • We use Tix Africa for ticketing, which accepts:

    • Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo)

    • Visa/Mastercard (for local and international purchases)

  • Yes! Tix Africa accepts international Visa/Mastercard. The price will be charged in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and your bank will convert it to your local currency.

  • All ticket sales are final. We don't offer refunds, but tickets are transferable. If you can't make it, you can transfer your ticket to someone else by contacting us at ahf@transit-live.com at least 48 hours before the event.

    Season Passes are also transferable but must be transferred at least 7 days before the first event (which is Transit Live on 13th December).

  • Contact Tix Africa customer support immediately at through the Live Chat feature on https://help.tix.africa/en/. If you're still having issues, email us at ahf@transit-live.com and we'll help you sort it out.

  • Your Season Pass is a physical card that you'll pick up at the first AHF event you attend.

    How it works:

    1. Buy your Season Pass on Tix Africa (select "AHF Season Pass" ticket option on any event page).

    2. Attend your first event and show your Tix Africa confirmation at the check-in desk.

    3. We'll issue your physical pass card and merch.

    4. Use your physical card for free entry at all remaining events.

  • Don't panic! Keep your original Tix Africa ticket confirmation email. If you lose your card, show us that email at the door and we'll verify you and let you in.

    We recommend taking a photo of your Season Pass card just in case.

  • If you purchased a Season Pass, you'll receive your merch set when you pick up your card at your first event.

  • Your Season Pass gives you access to ALL 4 official AHF events. You don't have to attend all of them, but you can if you want to. Use it for whichever events work with your schedule.

  • Season Passes include general admission to all events. VIP upgrades are available separately for Transit Live and Closing Party if you want premium viewing areas and extra perks. Just email us at ahf@transit-live.com or enquire on the door.

Events

  • Official AHF events are the events organised by the Accra House Fest team:

    1. Transit Live (Opening Party) - 13th Dec, Sandbox Beach Club, 5pm-5am

    2. Open House Warehouse Party - Date TBA, South Village

    3. AHF Pool Party - Date TBA, Polo Beach Club

    4. AHF Closing Party - 5th Jan, Barn Door Beergarden, 12pm-4am

    Season Pass holders get free entry to all of these. Individual tickets are also available.

    AHF has also organised a number of free events - full details in the Events Calendar.

  • Featured events are curated house music events happening throughout the season that we're highlighting on the AHF calendar. These are organised by trusted community partners, not by us.

    Important: Featured events require separate tickets purchased directly from the organisers. Your Season Pass does NOT include featured events.

    Think of it as: We're creating a complete guide to house music in Accra this Detty December. Official events are ours, featured events are the community's.

  • Yes! We have 3 free events open to everyone:

    1. AHF Presents: The Warm-Up - 10th Dec, 6-11pm, Palm Moments: A panel conversation, networking, open decks and DJ sets.

    2. Sunday Reset - Every Sunday in December, 5-10pm, Barn Door Beergarden: Chill vibes, DJ sets, games, community hangout.

    3. DJ Workshop - 8th Jan, 6-10pm, The Art Clinic: Take your passion for house further with this workshop open to all skill levels.

    No ticket needed - just show up!

  • Every event has its unique vibe but, overall, these are house events that are all about good energy, inclusive community and dancing!

    Check the details for each event to scope out the dress code but, generally, come as you are, express yourself and bring your dancing shoes.

  • No outside food or drinks allowed at venues. Let’s support the venues and vendors that make these events possible!

Logistics & Safety

  • AHF events take place all over Accra! For venue details for a specific event, please check the ticketing page, flyer or organiser social media page.

  • Each venue has its own door policy, but here’s a general guide.

    Prohibited items:

    • Weapons of any kind

    • Illegal drugs

    • Outside food or drinks

    • Professional cameras/recording equipment (without prior approval)

    • Glass bottles

    What you CAN bring:

    • Phone/small camera

    • Small bag/backpack

    • Sunscreen and sunglasses (daytime events)

  • Yes. All events have professional security at entry and throughout the venue. We take your safety seriously.

    If you feel unsafe or witness something concerning, find a staff member wearing an AHF shirt or security immediately.

  • Honouring the roots of house music, Accra House Fest is committed to creating inclusive, safe spaces for everyone regardless of gender, sexuality, race or background.

    We have zero tolerance for:

    • Sexual harassment or assault

    • Discrimination or hate speech

    • Violence or threatening behavior

    If you experience or witness any of the above:

    1. Find an AHF staff member or security immediately

    2. We will take your report seriously and act quickly

    3. Email ahf@transit-live.com after the event if you want to follow up

    Consent matters. Respect boundaries, give people space, ask first, no means no.

  • We want AHF to be accessible to everyone. Please email ahf@transit-live.com at least 7 days before the event you're attending so we can:

    • Arrange appropriate accommodations

    • Brief security and staff

    • Ensure you have the best possible experience
